The instructor is responsible for diagnosing and providing remedial reading and math instruction to identified students. This includes administering assessments, implementing differentiated instruction, and collaborating with parents and school staff.
Candidates must hold valid PA certifications in Elementary Education and as a Reading Specialist. Knowledge of specific assessment tools like DIBELS Next and intervention programs like Wilson Reading is required.
Current Act 114, Act 34 and Act 151 required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
