The Administrative Assistant manages the daily operations of the Child Care Center, including bookkeeping, clerical tasks, and staff scheduling. They also balance administrative duties with direct support for teachers and children in the classrooms.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a licensed childcare facility. A CDA or Associate degree and knowledge of accounting procedures are preferred.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide range of tasks that are essential to the smooth running of the Child Care Center. Administrative Assistants perform various routines including bookkeeping, clerical work, family communication, staff training and opening and closing the school. They will split time between administrative duties and assisting teachers and children in the classrooms.
