Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a dedicated team member to support our Lead Teacher at our New Market West Center in the Toddler Classroom.
Implement lesson plans along with the Lead Teacher Supervise children in your care Assume the lead teacher's classroom responsibilities in their absence. Assist with all tasks associated with the daily schedule Teach children how to use acceptable alternatives to challenging behavior to reduce conflict by using provide guidance approaches such as FLIP IT and Second Step. Observe, document, and celebrate each child’s progress, sharing their victories (big and small) with proud parents.
High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred Strong teamwork and flexibility Ability to keep information private Basic knowledge of childcare rules Must meet all required clearances and health checks
