  • In Early Head Start, we work with newborns to 3 yrs. old.
  • We work with children and families on many areas of healthy child development.
  • We are looking for a classroom leader to guide these activities and more.
  • LCECP is seeking a caring person, who is passionate about education, for our Early Head Start Teacher position(s).

Position Summary

  • Our Teachers serve a vital role at LCECP, they are classroom leaders. They are developing lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum and they are working with classroom staff to ensure children and families receive the services they need. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children’s lives. We are looking for a caring person, who enjoys a fast-paced job. The Teacher will be responsible for:
  • Developing and delivering lesson plans designed to help children reach their goals
  • Conducting observations and tracking important information accurately
  • Conducting Parent visits and Parent conferences
  • Understanding and developing individual child goals

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field
  • Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.
  • Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.

Hours will vary by location. Wage will depend on experience. This position is eligible for full dental and health benefits after 90 days, if working over 30 hours a week.
