The Special Education teacher provides classroom instruction to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties. They are responsible for implementing Individualized Education Plans, 504s, and behavioral support plans.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a current Arkansas Special Education Teaching certification or be willing to obtain one. Experience with statewide testing and behavioral support plans is required.
Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a special education teacher position at our Therapeutic Day Treatment program in Siloam Springs. Candidates must have a current Arkansas Special Education Teaching certification or have a current Arkansas Teaching certification and be willing to obtain certification in Special Education. A bachelor's degree is required for this position.

The ability to work collaboratively with a team, good communication skills, patience, flexibility, and good time management skills are required. The Special Education teacher will be providing classroom instruction to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
This position is classified as full-time, exempt (salaried).
