Infant / Toddler Teacher

The Learning Experience - Dedham is seeking a caring and experienced Infant / Toddler Teacher to support our youngest learners during the most important years of growth and development.

This role focuses on creating a warm, engaging classroom environment while supporting language development, social-emotional growth, motor skills, and early learning through developmentally appropriate experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for infants and toddlers

Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development

Build strong relationships with children through responsive caregiving and positive interactions

Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and transitions

Observe and document children's developmental progress

Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom

Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones, routines, and daily activities

Partner with fellow teachers to ensure classroom consistency and quality

Follow all Massachusetts EEC licensing and health and safety requirements

Qualifications

EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification required: Prior experience working with infants and toddlers preferred

CDA, Associate's Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred

Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Passion for nurturing and educating young children

Must meet Massachusetts EEC and background check requirements
