The Group Instructor/PE Coach will be responsible for providing physical education, skill-based training, and strength and conditioning programming for a local school in San Antonio. As a GYMGUYZ Group Instructor/PE Coach, you will provide professional instruction for each class while providing the highest level of customer service. Additionally, you must be able to adapt to various fitness levels and modify class instruction to create a safe, fun, and encouraging experience. You must also be able to adapt to various work environments, both indoor and outdoor.
Deliver comprehensive physical education, skill-based training, and strength and conditioning programs Provide professional instruction in each class, ensuring the highest level of customer service. Adapt instruction to accommodate various fitness levels, creating a safe, enjoyable, and encouraging experience for all participants. Ensure student safety and provide ongoing motivation and support. Monitor and track student progress based on the school's curriculum and requirements Attend weekly and monthly 1:1 meetings. Other duties as assigned.
Skills-based youth sports training preferred. Nationally recognized personal training or Group Instructor certification (e.g., ISSA, NASM, ACE, ACSM) preferred. CPR/AED certification. Demonstrated knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours. Team player or collaborative with others.
