The Learning Experience – Billerica is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 in a structured early childhood classroom focused on kindergarten readiness, social-emotional growth, and hands-on learning experiences.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom environments where children build confidence, independence, and strong early academic foundations through guided learning and meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving skills Create a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment Support children’s social-emotional development and classroom participation Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and milestones Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership to maintain classroom consistency Maintain compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification required (or ability to qualify) Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred Minimum 1 year of preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available)
