Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to students within a K-12 setting, focusing on articulation, language, voice, and impaired communication skills as appropriate.
  • Conduct screenings and formal evaluations, contributing to the identification of communication needs and progress toward IEP goals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP-based goals and therapy plans; deliver direct and/or consultative services to individual and small groups.
  • Document student progress and communicate outcomes to families and multidisciplinary teams; maintain timely compliance with district and state reporting requirements.
  • Participate in related planning meetings (IEPs, eligibility, and progress meetings); collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathology supervisors, and other support staff to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Adhere to school policies and CF supervision guidelines; maintain ethical, confidential, and professional practice within the educational setting.

Requirements

  • Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or eligibility for CF supervision in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensure/certification aligned with CF requirements (CF status per program guidelines)
  • Ability to work effectively in a school setting with students across grade levels
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to follow district scheduling, holidays, and school calendar, with understanding that pay is for hours worked
