About the role

The assistant teacher is responsible for creating engaging learning activities and fostering a safe, nurturing environment for children's growth. They must also adjust curriculum to meet learning objectives and ensure adherence to state and YMCA safety guidelines.

00pm-6:00pm | $15.50-$22.00 per hour

  • What is needed for this job
  • Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
  • High school diploma
  • Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
  • Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
  • Ability to pass all relevant clearances
