• Special Education Resource Teacher Teaching Matters Here Prelude Prep is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Pre-K through 8th grade in San Antonio. We are seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support for students receiving special education services. This teacher will serve as a case manager, provide targeted interventions, collaborate with classroom teachers, and help students make meaningful progress toward their IEP goals. What You'll Do As a Special Education Resource Teacher, you will provide specialized instruction and support for students receiving special education services through resource and pull-out interventions. Responsibilities include:
• Serve as the case manager for assigned students receiving special education services
• Provide specialized instruction in small-group settings aligned to students' IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented effectively
• Participate in ARD meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support
• Use data to make instructional decisions and adjust interventions
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
• Participate actively in coaching, planning, and professional development

Qualifications

• Required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas Special Education certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Eligibility to work in the United States Preferred
• Experience serving students in a resource setting
• Experience with ARD meetings and IEP implementation
• Knowledge of evidence-based reading and math interventions
• Strong organizational and data-tracking skills Compensation and Benefits
• Salary: $55,000–$65,000
