Presentation High School in San Jose, California is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the season beginning August 5th, 2026 and ending around November 15th, 2026. This position will be responsible for coaching the team in support of an engaging and positive student experience.
and Specific Responsibilities Assist in the scheduling of games, scrimmages, and practices for the program Teach and enhance fundamental skills and techniques, as well as advanced techniques in the sport Attend all team practices and games (Mon-Fri afternoons. Some Saturday commitments.) Coordinate management of on-site events as directed by the varsity head coach Attend Athletic meetings as required, including Coaches meetings and season parent meetings Participate in all playoff events as directed by the varsity head coach Report all game results to the Athletic Department Responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior on the part of athletes at practices, games, and in transit to and from events Abide by all league and CIF-CCS rules and regulations and attend meetings as required Prioritize an environment of safety for our student-athletes and provide first aid when required Manage and maintain program equipment Coordinate season-end awards program in partnership with the varsity head coach Attend school functions related to the promotion of Athletic programs
Education & Experience Experience playing at a competitive level in the specific sport is preferred Experience teaching skills and strategies that apply to the skill level of the players Professional dedication to athletic development and expertise in coaching
