About the Role

Join The Learning Tree as a Co-Lead Twos Teacher and make a difference in the lives of young children! In this role, you will guide and inspire toddlers in a nurturing environment while fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers' developmental needs.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and milestones.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.

Requirements

  • EDU 119 or a degree in early childhood or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a classroom/ group setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education, especially focused on toddlers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
  • Creative and adaptable teaching style that engages young learners.
