The Camp Nurse is responsible for responding to the medical needs of campers and staff while maintaining a safe and healthy camp environment. They will also support staff through relationship building and coaching, and ensure effective communication with parents regarding camper health concerns.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold relevant certifications such as First Aid and CPR. A nursing license or equivalent medical certification is required, along with a background check.

Under Supervision of the Director, Youth Development, the Camp Health Officer works to maintain a safe and healthy camp environment using preventive care and risk management techniques in a manner that is consistent with the staff code of conduct and the philosophy, goals, and objectives of YMCA Camp Collins.
Work with the staff team in responding to the medical needs of campers and staff. Be an active and supportive member of the camp community and help to create an enjoyable experience for all campers and staff. Be an active and supportive member of the Leadership Team.
Minimum Age 21 First Aid Certification Adult, Child & Infant CPR and AED Certification RN and license to practice in Oregon, LNP, EMT, or WEMT Must pass YMCA background check
Experience working with youth 2 years of camping experience or combination of youth program and supervisory experience. Driver’s License with clean driving record
