Responsible for the recruitment, retention, and coaching of cheerleading athletes in alignment with university and NAIA guidelines. Duties include leading practice sessions, evaluating potential recruits, and providing advocacy and problem-resolution for student-athletes.
Requires a bachelor's degree and successful coaching experience at the high school or college level. Candidates must possess appropriate coaching licenses, certifications, and a commitment to the NAIA philosophy.

No supervisory responsibilities required.
Half-time. 20 hours per week. Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department. Nights/weekends as needed.
Appointment Length: 10 months, continuous (dates)
Long periods of Physical exertion. Work is performed inside and outside in all weather conditions. Prolonged periods of standing are required. Must have the ability to travel short distances. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Responsible employee Any employee who is not a confidential employee. Payroll Status: Salary- Exempt (paid bi-weekly)
This is an on-site position based at the Historic Gainesville Campus located in Gainesville, Georgia.
Remote Work Available: No
Occasional travel required. Occasional overnight stays. Ability to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as needed for team events, recruiting, etc., which requires frequent driving. Due to insurance requirements, employees operating university vehicles or performing any driving activity in one’s own personal vehicle for Brenau purposes must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Georgia driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.
