The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating the occupational therapy needs of students from TK-12. This includes developing IEPs, implementing intervention plans, and providing consultation to staff and families.
Candidates must hold a valid certificate of registration from the American Occupational Therapy Association and a valid California Driver's License. Preferred qualifications include two years of school-based therapy experience and knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Salary Range: Starting at $90,000, commensurate with experience

Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education, the School Occupational Therapist is directly responsible for the specific occupational therapy needs of students potentially ranging from grades TK–12. The Occupational Therapist will also provide training and consultation with staff, families, students, and our larger community. This position may include a combination of working from our home office and travel to school sites as needed. Essential Functions
Possession of a valid certificate of registration issued by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Must believe in and live out ICEF’s RECIPE philosophy. Unwavering belief that all students can learn and achieve success in school. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to foster positive working relationships. Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels (staff, parents, students, and community members) in a respectful manner and provide excellent customer service. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Must attend and participate in ICEF staff meetings and training programs as required. Must have reliable and insured transportation and a valid California Driver’s License. Must be able to travel between schools and the home office as required. Must show proof and maintain a clear TB, DOJ, and FBI Clearance. Must provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States.
At least two years of related experience in Occupational Therapy and School-Based Therapy. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) knowledge. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
