The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 3 to 5 years. This role includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth while preparing children for kindergarten and fostering school readiness, in alignment with Head Start Performance Standards and program goals. The Preschool Teacher collaborates closely with families to support each child's learning and development. Also, this position oversees classroom operations, including effective classroom management, accurate recordkeeping, and maintaining active supervision of children.
