The instructor will ensure that CoARC Standards and NBRC Matrix are achieved for Respiratory Therapy Accreditation while teaching assigned courses and conducting lab check-offs. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, mentoring students, and collaborating with program directors to update curriculum.
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, a state-specific respiratory therapist license, and at least 10 years of hospital experience. Higher education teaching experience and BLS/ACLS certifications are preferred.

Faculty of the Respiratory Program will work with students to ensure the CoARC Standards/ NBRC Matrix are achieved for Respiratory Therapy Accreditation, CoARC during teaching of assigned courses and lab check offs. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure CoARC Standards/ NBRC Matrix are followed for each assigned course Establish goals and objectives for each assigned course Maintain FERPA Prepare and implement remediation plans for student lab check offs (assessment/ feedback) Effectively teach assigned courses Effectively instruct lab check offs Syllabus Preparation Student mentorship Collaborate with the Program Director and Director of Clinical Education to review and update curriculum to align with the NBRC TMC and CSE Matrix Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Dean EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution.
