The adjunct faculty member is responsible for delivering effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi. Key duties include managing student attendance, grading, and providing academic support outside of scheduled class times.
Candidates must possess a master's degree or higher in Communication or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Communication. Strong working knowledge of current instructional technologies is also required.
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction, faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 as applicable to the specific area of instruction. A qualified faculty member meets the discipline standard through one of two routes: 1. Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution in Communication. 2. Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in any field with 18 graduate semester hours in Communication courses.
