Summer ESL Teacher EF Miami Beach International Language Center Miami Beach, FL

Who You Are

Are you passionate about Education? Do you enjoy being in an international environment with people from all over the world? Do you push your students to interact in a communicative style rather than take notes and listen to lectures? Are you always looking for creative ways to bring life and energy to your lessons?

If so, this role could be the one for you.

The Role

Spend your summer teaching classes of 15-17 students of varying English proficiency from all over the world utilizing EF’s cutting edge in-house curriculum and methodology to lead interactive and hands-on classes. Add your own “sparkle” to the lesson plans to bring them to life and ensure your students are learning as much as they are having fun. EF provides dedicated face-to-face training as well as online training to ensure that you are prepared for your role. Our Academic Team will support your professional development as well as provide you with guidance throughout your tenure at the school.

  • Our summer program runs from July 6th until August 21st.
  • This is an in-person position at our oceanfront campus in Miami Beach, FL.
  • Please note that we do not have options for remote teaching.
  • Our classes run from Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 17:05.
  • We are looking for teachers who can teach both part-time (minimum 13 contact hours per week) and full-time (up to 32 contact hours per week).
  • Candidate Profile
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and a natural leader in the classroom.
  • Responsible, approachable and friendly.
  • Highly organized, flexible and global minded.
  • 3 months of experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting with 15+ students (Preferred).
  • Comfortable working with teenagers
  • ESL or TEFL certified
  • BA Degree or equivalent in any discipline

Earnings

$21.49 - $23.42 per hour is the range and is based on teaching experience.
