• Factor: We believe in bringing energy, positivity, and joy into the work we do every day In this Role, you will serve as the assistant to the head coach, responsible for helping build a Christ-centered, competitive, and development-focused team culture. This role plays a critical part in shaping student-athletes in character, faith, and skill while establishing a strong foundation for the South Campus athletic program. Coaching & Program Leadership Assist in building and leading a Christ-centered swim program aligned to Aug Prep’s mission and values Model servant leadership through humility, encouragement, and integrity Participate in a year-round vision including in-season and off-season programming, training, and team culture Assist in all practices, games, and team functions with structure and purpose Work with the head coach to create a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented team environment Athletic Development & Training Plan and implement comprehensive training focused on skill development, team tactics, conditioning, and mental toughness Teach fundamental and advanced swim skills with attention to individual athlete growth Support holistic athlete development including leadership, accountability, and resilience Collaborate with strength and conditioning staff as needed Team & Culture Management Build strong relationships with student-athletes, families, staff, and the broader school community Communicate clearly and consistently with all stakeholders Establish team expectations that reflect integrity, perseverance, courage, and respect Create team-building opportunities that reinforce culture and unity Operations, Compliance & Collaboration Ensure all athletes meet academic, behavioral, and eligibility standards Maintain compliance with WIAA, conference, and school policies Coordinate with the Athletic Department on scheduling, transportation, and facilities Manage equipment, uniforms, and inventory responsibly What We’re Looking For A deep belief in the ability of every child and commitment to excellence Alignment with Aug Prep’s Mission, South Star, and Christian values Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to build relationships and lead with integrity Experience in coaching volleyball (3+ years preferred) Bachelor’s Degree preferred CPR and AED certification preferred Active participation in a local church Team player with a service mindset and high character This document describes general information about the position, however, should not be considered comprehensive.
