What you will do
Lead the daily classroom experience for a group of children Maintain a safe, attentive, and well-managed classroom and playground environment Implement lesson plans and the daily schedule using the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum Observe and assess children’s developmental progress on an ongoing basis Partner with school leadership on student progress meetings and evaluations Create a classroom environment that is organized, engaging, and confidence-building for children Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with parents Set clear expectations for behavior and guide children with consistency and encouragement Collaborate closely with co-teachers and other classroom faculty Help maintain the classroom, shared spaces, and playground areas Attend required faculty meetings, student progress meetings, and school events What support looks like here

Required qualifications
High school diploma Ability to work collaboratively with classroom faculty and school leadership Ability to meet the physical demands of an active classroom environment Preferred qualifications (not required)
Associate’s degree, two years of college, or 2 years of relevant experience EEC Teacher certification CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire Professional expectations
