Kent State University's College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track faculty position beginning Fall 2026. We seek an experienced and student-focused educator to join our dynamic and growing nursing program.
The successful candidate will primarily teach Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in the graduate curriculum and may contribute to teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the nursing program (outside of the mental health nursing specialty as needed). Responsibilities include both classroom and clinical instruction, with a strong commitment to nursing education at multiple levels.
Preferred Qualifications: – if applicable:
Minimum of five years of Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical experience.
Experience teaching at both Undergraduate and Graduate levels.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
A Doctoral Degree (PhD or DNP) is a plus.
