Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline. Assist in student learning outcomes. Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies. Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct. Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor Grade class assignments and exams.
1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required. Career Technical Education or similar teaching credential preferred. Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math. Front office experience. Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience. No teaching experience required Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately. Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards. Comfortable with computers and technology. Highly organized and detail oriented.
