  • Collaborative, positive environment with strong classroom ratios Leadership that values your input, supports your success, and celebrates you 🍎 What You’ll Do Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum Nurture each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development Engage with children during learning, play, and transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly Collaborate with other teachers and school leaders to ensure excellence in every classroom ✅ Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1+ year of experience working with children ages 6 weeks – 5 years (preferred) Passion for early childhood education and a joyful, caring attitude Meets all Tennessee state licensing requirements for early childhood staff Reliable and professional with consistent attendance Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and team members Maintains composure and professionalism when addressing stressful situations or unexpected challenges Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to ensure child safety, facilitate programs, and respond to emergencies.
  • Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs and perform other caregiving duties Remains alert and engaged while supervising children at all times Meets all background check and fingerprinting requirements per Tennessee state licensing regulations Completes required pre-service, onboarding, and annual training hours Adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation standards Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to The Gardner School’s mission and values ❤️ Join The Gardner School Family At The Gardner School, you’ll find more than a job—you’ll find a community that celebrates your creativity, compassion, and commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
