Your Role

  • Inspire
  • Learning: Plan and implement engaging, hands-on activities in art, music, literature, science, and more, fostering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

  • Space: Supervise all activities, maintain clean and organized classrooms, and ensure safety protocols are always followed.
  • Connect with
  • Families: Share updates, observations, and evidence of learning using tools like our Kindertales app. Conduct bi-annual parent conferences and address family concerns positively.
  • Promote
  • Growth: Observe, document, and celebrate each child’s development while tailoring lessons to individual needs, interests, and learning styles.
  • Uphold
  • Compliance: Follow state licensing standards, conduct emergency drills, and complete necessary paperwork, including incident reports and daily logs.
  • Lead the
  • Team: Mentor classroom assistants, maintain classroom procedures, and collaborate with the leadership team on continuous improvements.

  • Community: Create positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and children to support a warm, inclusive learning environment.

What You’ll Need

  • Education &
  • Experience: High School Diploma/GED +; CDA or higher preferred; Refer to state requirements for lead or assistant teacher qualifications
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid (or willingness to obtain). A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a plus.
