Position Summary

The Teacher at Victory Life Academy is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters academic growth, character development, and a love for learning through the lens of a biblical worldview. This role involves planning and delivering effective instruction in English Language Arts, supporting students’ academic and spiritual development, and contributing to the overall school community. Key Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum Development

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction that promotes critical thinking, communication, and literacy skills

Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards

Establish and clearly communicate learning objectives for all instructional activities

Teach literature, grammar, writing, vocabulary, speaking, and critical reading skills using a variety of instructional strategies

Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into literature analysis, writing instruction, and classroom discussions where appropriate

Encourage students to think critically, communicate effectively, and evaluate ideas through the lens of biblical truth

Utilize relevant technology and instructional resources to enhance student learning

  • Prepare and maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and Christ-like character
  • Manage student behavior by establishing clear expectations, rules, and procedures
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and biblical principles

  • Assess and evaluate student performance through essays, projects, presentations, quizzes, tests, and other formative and summative assessments
