POSITION: Adjunct Faculty - Early Childhood Education: Early Childhood Education Department; Business and Professional Studies Division; Haverhill (100 Elliott Street) or Lawrence campuses (45 Franklin Street); MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position SUMMARY: For Fall 2026, we are seeking instructors for ECE271, a practicum course taught in Spanish. Responsibilities include teaching the practicum curriculum in person at 45 Franklin Street in Lawrence one evening every other week, as well as conducting daytime practicum site visits and evaluations at students' practicum placement locations throughout the semester. We are additionally seeking instructors to join our Adjunct Faculty pool to teach a variety of Early Childhood Education courses on an as-needed basis. Classes are typically offered at NECC's Haverhill and/or Lawrence campuses during daytime and evening hours, as well as online, face-to-face, and in hybrid formats. A list of potential courses is available online in the Course Catalog. Course descriptions are available on the NECC website. Please note: Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment. REPORTS TO: Dean of Business and Professional Studies
Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes. Communicate fluently in Spanish (written and verbal) to effectively instruct, engage with, and support students. Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, and syllabus requirements.
