The Campus Minister provides spiritual care, supportive counseling, and pastoral ministry to university students within the Disciples of Christ tradition. Key duties include coordinating interfaith events, advising student organizations, and potentially teaching courses.
Candidates must hold a Master of Divinity or equivalent theological degree and have at least two years of experience in campus or parish ministry. Formal training in pastoral counseling and a commitment to the Disciples of Christ ethos are required.
Coursework or licensure in counseling, social work, or psychology (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent a plus) Prior experience in higher education or college-age ministry settings Experience facilitating retreats, spiritual direction, or formation programs Familiarity with trauma-informed care and mental health first aid Ordained or ordination-eligible within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or a closely aligned tradition Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until this position is filled.
