Advanced Practice Clinician Fellow, Cardiology

• HealthPartners is offering a 12-month postgraduate fellowship program to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in cardiology with a targeted start date of January 2027 (flexible).
• The HealthPartners Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is designed to support new graduate APCs in their transition to practice or experienced APCs in their transition to a new specialty.
• Building on the American College of Cardiology APC Competencies as the foundation of the clinical and didactic curriculum, APC fellows develop competence and confidence in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Rotations provide exposure to multiple cardiology subspecialties and pertinent medical specialties.
• Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, developing differential diagnoses, formulating assessment and management plans, coordinating care, providing patient education and treatment, and participating in all required educational opportunities.
• Clinical supervision and support are provided by attending physicians and APCs.
• Through diverse rotations, didactic lectures, and structured mentorship, APC fellows gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for a successful career in cardiology.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited

• Note: Applicants may be in final year of completing this requirement with hiring dependent upon successful completion.
• Licensure/Certification
• Required: Current national certification by the NCCPA Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota
• or- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota Current national certification by the AANP, ANCC or AACN Current licensure to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontological
