The teacher will develop and implement PE and Health lesson plans for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. They are responsible for using student data to refine instruction and collaborating with colleagues to improve curriculum.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid New Jersey Teaching Certification. Previous teaching experience in upper elementary, middle, or high school is required.

Teachers in this position be able to do the following: Strong content knowledge in Physical Education (PE) and Health Education Able to create lesson plans for PE and Health for 6th, 7th, or 8th grade students Experience/comfort with online applications to enhance learning Use data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices Receptive to weekly coaching and committed to growing and strengthening practice Provide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behavior Implement multiple techniques for increased student engagement and checking for understanding Familiarity with Google Classroom and virtual meeting platforms Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Teaching experience in an upper elementary, middle, or high school Adept interpersonal and communication skills to diverse audiences Valid NJ Teaching Certification
