Saint Luke Hospital on the Plaza is currently looking for an experienced, full time teacher for our Licensed Early Childhood Education Center. As an Early Childhood Educator, you would be able to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth of children by providing quality child care. This is a position that allows you to actually participate in the planned activities with the children so you get to be an active participant in their care and education! Providing basic care giving to children. Interacting and communicating with children, parents and other employees. Planning and implementing age appropriate lesson plans/curriculum while assessing and responding to the individual needs of the children. Teaching curriculum that is based on the theories of Project Construct and Creative Curriculum with the goal of kindergarten readiness. Providing a clean and well organized classroom. Maintaining a commitment and dedication to providing a safe learning environment for all children. Establishing and maintaining effective, professional working relationships with parents and staff. Demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and quality of work. Maintaining flexibility in work assignments. Participating in state required in-service trainings.
