As a Kindergarten Teacher at Paragon Prep, you will prepare and implement a full educational teaching plan that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development. You will be responsible for helping students build foundational skills while also supporting their personal growth, confidence, and love of learning. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, organized, and able to make learning accessible and engaging through comprehensive instruction, interactive activities, and individualized support. You will also: Plan, prepare, and present lessons in a comprehensive and engaging manner that supports Kindergarten learning goals. Use visual, audio, interactive, and hands-on instructional methods to make learning meaningful and accessible. Provide individualized instruction by promoting active participation and differentiated learning experiences. Create and distribute age-appropriate educational content, including notes, assignments, activities, and classroom materials. Assess and record student progress and provide age-appropriate feedback to support continued growth. Maintain a tidy, orderly, safe, and welcoming classroom environment. Build positive relationships with students based on mutual trust, respect, and encouragement. Observe and understand students’ behavior, development, and social-emotional needs, reporting any concerns as appropriate. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, administrators, and school stakeholders to support student success. Follow school policies, procedures, and applicable educational guidelines. Continue to develop professional skills and knowledge through seminars, conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required. Degree in teaching or specialized subject with a certificate in education preferred. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience required. Proven experience as an early elementary or Kindergarten teacher. Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and age-appropriate instructional strategies. Strong understanding of classroom management, child development, and student-centered learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Well-organized, dependable, creative, energetic, and committed to student success. Strong moral values, professionalism, and sound judgment. CPR knowledge or certification preferred. Must be able to work in person at the school campus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
