Preschool Teacher

• Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a creative and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators!
• Our preschool program provides a balance of learning and play, helping children build the academic and social skills that prepare them for Pre-K and beyond.
• As a Preschool Teacher, you will support multiple classrooms and inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and create meaningful learning experiences that make every day exciting and purposeful for young learners.
• What You’ll Do: Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
• Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support the school community through teamwork, creativity, and a shared passion for excellence.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old, have an awarded High School Diploma or GED, AND have one of the following: Completed 12 Core ECE Units OR Have an awarded Child Development Associate (CDA) in Preschool. 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center. A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
