The part-time faculty member will be responsible for delivering instruction in assigned courses in accordance with the master course syllabus, stated learning outcomes, and departmental guidelines. They will prepare and maintain course syllabi, develop instructional materials, and design assessments that promote student learning. Faculty are expected to engage students through active and inclusive teaching strategies, provide timely feedback, and foster a supportive classroom environment.
Demonstrated experience teaching post-secondary experience. Experience with media, evolving instructional technologies, and distance learning programs. Teaching philosophy that aligns with the DACC mission and values. Bilingual competence in English and Spanish will be considered an asset.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
No or very limited physical effort required.
Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
