Market context
In Florida, paraprofessional openings are typically driven by ongoing classroom support needs, especially in schools serving students who need extra academic or behavioral assistance. This role is competitive because employers often prefer candidates with an associate or bachelor’s degree, along with a high school diploma or equivalent and a clear Level 2 background screening. Before applying, review the school’s mission and prepare examples of supporting teachers, students, and classroom routines.
