The Resilience Coach creates a safe and supportive environment for students through mentorship, recreation, and academic support. Key duties include leading enrichment activities, facilitating homework help, and ensuring student safety and well-being.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old. Specific requirements include verified childcare experience or an Early Childhood Professional Credential.
School-Based Program Site We support several before and after school programs within Aurora Public Schools, including charter schools within the district. Candidates should be comfortable working at any of the schools within the district. Additional information about locations will be discussed in the interview process.

We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days week for a full shift, whether it is in the morning or afternoon. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time.
Pay: $20-24/hour, based on experience and region
Position Overview Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive. This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. State Specific Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years old and meet ONE of the following: 3 months/455 hours of verified work experience in the care/supervision of 4 or more children Completion of a current Early Childhood Professional Credential of Level 1 of higher Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
