Requires a High School Diploma and progress toward or completion of an NCECC credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education. Candidates need at least one year of preschool experience and must obtain an NC Qualifying Letter and CPR/First Aid certification.
Join our welcoming JCC community as an Assistant Teacher (Toddler Room) in our Shalom Children's Center! The Assistant Teacher collaborates with the Lead Teacher to create a nurturing support system aimed at providing each child with the highest level of individualized care possible. This role works with the Lead Teacher to implement lesson plans, encourage social-emotional growth, and ensure compliance with NC DCDEE standards while fostering strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
