Guides students in the utilization of reference materials, location of materials, and operation of equipment. Develops instructional student material or professional development in information literacy and digital citizenship as requested by faculty or administrators. Schedules classes and teaches library skills as required, in coordination with the classroom teacher. Prepares reports and maintains accurate records as required by administrative regulations, TCCB ED Accreditation Standards, Diocesan policy, and Federal funding regulations, where applicable. Assists in planning and implementing staff development programs for the library staff and faculty whose pupils utilize the library. Supervises library aides and volunteers. Classifies, catalogs, and indexes materials, using established rules and refence works. Safeguards book collection by enforcing return date of books and payment of late fines, if applicable. Maintains discipline in the library. Prepares and enforces rules for the library. Provides a suitable library environment and display of materials. Attends required workshops and in-services.
