As a Temporary Academic Instructor, you will play a key role in helping students achieve academic success and career readiness within our Career Education Center. This long-term temporary replacement position provides instructional support during an extended staffing absence. You will deliver engaging instruction, provide individualized academic support, and help students progress toward GED/HSD completion while strengthening literacy and numeracy skills. What You'll Do Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction focused on GED/HSD completion and academic growth. Develop individualized learning and achievement plans for students. Provide case management to track progress and support student success. Integrate applied academics with Career Technical Training (CTT) programs. Maintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environment. Support and enforce behavioral and academic standards. Mentor students using Career Success Standards (PRH guidelines). Monitor, document, and report student progress with accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with instructors and staff across departments. Identify challenges early and implement effective solutions. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree from an accredited school required. Masters degree preferred. A valid in-state teaching certificate.
