About the role

Provide field supervision and mentoring for student teachers across various subject areas. Conduct in-person observations of classroom teachers during school district hours.

The School of Education at Monmouth University is seeking applications for Clinical Faculty Supervisor. The candidate would be expected to: provide field supervision of student teachers in the areas of mathematics, science, Spanish, special education, early childhood, elementary education, Health/Physical Education, English, social studies, art or music.

This is an in-person, on-campus/on-site position that is not remote.

• Provide field supervision of student teachers in the areas of mathematics, science, Spanish, special education, English, social studies, art or music.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Three years of permanent certified experience in the area(s) of certification.
  • Permanent certification in the content area of supervision as issued by the New Jersey Department of Education or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Available for in-person observations during school district hours.
  • Recent experience supervising, consulting, or otherwise working in schools in contact with classroom teachers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Administrative and/or Supervisor’s certification, formal training in supervision and/or supervisory experience.
