AMS is seeking a passionate, data-driven Technology Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and build strong foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. Key Responsibilities: Instruction & Student Achievement Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks. Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level. Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional planning and interventions. Build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Classroom Culture & Student Support Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment. Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies. Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Collaboration & Professional Growth Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities. Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to continuously improve teaching practices. Contribute to school-wide systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Family Engagement Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress. Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an educational related field (e.g., Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or relevant content area) OR Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area OR Minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience Additionally, candidates must: Demonstrate strong classroom management skills Pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Show commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a data-driven instructional mindset Exhibit collaboration, professionalism, and initiative in a team-based environment Compensation & Benefits AMS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support professional growth and long-term career success.
