We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated Certified Tennis Instructor to join our team at Del Webb at Viera, a 55+ active adult community in Melbourne, Florida. PLAY Academy only hires local coaches, and candidates must live in the surrounding area to be considered. A Tennis Teaching Certification through USPTA or PTR is required.

Job Description

The Tennis Instructor will lead group classes and private lessons for residents of a vibrant 55+ active adult community, serving players of varying skill levels. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about tennis, enjoys working with adult players, and has the ability to motivate and inspire participants to improve their game. Responsibilities Lead group tennis clinics and private lessons. Develop and implement lesson plans appropriate for players of all skill levels. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to participants. Ensure proper use and care of equipment and facilities. Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Engage with residents and help promote tennis programming within the community. Compensation Up to 60% commission on all registration fees for classes and lessons.
