Experience

• Proven knowledge of language pedagogy. Superior-level proficiency in Haitian Creole (ACTFL rating) or native speaker required. Demonstrated experience teaching university courses in Haitian Creole preferred. Curriculum development experience preferred.
• Duties/Expectations: Teach and advise students in beginner, intermediate, and advanced level Haitian Creole. Use department-approved curriculum to guide instruction in conversation, reading, and writing. Support students in developing real-world language applications. Adjunct instructors are expected to attend monthly training meetings collaborate with faculty to maintain consistency in instruction and assessment. Additional responsibilities may include mentoring students in professional writing and speaking.
