What You'll Do Develop, implement, and manage IEPs aligned with student goals. Deliver individualized instruction in high school core academic subjects. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs. Implement behavior intervention strategies alongside BCBAs and behavior staff. Monitor student progress using academic and behavioral data. Support transition planning, vocational readiness, and independent living skills. Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Maintain required documentation and ensure special education compliance. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred). Virginia Special Education teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience supporting students with emotional, behavioral, or learning disabilities. Knowledge of IEP development, IDEA, and evidence-based instructional practices. Strong classroom management and behavioral support skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. What Would Be a Plus Experience teaching high school special education. Experience with transition planning or vocational education. Experience working in therapeutic, behavioral, or alternative school settings. Familiarity with ABA principles or collaborating with BCBAs. Bilingual or multilingual abilities. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
