Lead small language arts classes for advanced students using company-created curriculum and student-led learning methodologies. Manage classrooms of up to 16 students while providing feedback on tests and building relationships with families.
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for degrees in education or humanities. Candidates should have strong content knowledge in reading, writing, or grammar and previous experience teaching or tutoring students.
AoPS Academy is an afterschool program with classes in the evenings and on weekends. Candidates must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends. This position requires a minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class. Each course meets once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes.
This is an in-person position at our Cambridge location Candidates must be located in Cambridge, MA or the surrounding area and must be able to commute to our campus.
