Provide direct intervention, outreach, and consultation services to students seeking mental health treatment. Deliver individual and group counseling for concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, and academic difficulties.
Requires a master's degree in a mental health field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and valid licensure in the State of Florida. Preference is given to candidates with at least three years of experience in higher education counseling centers.
This position will provide direct intervention, outreach and consultation services to USF students who seek mental health treatment at the USF Counseling Center. Individual and group counseling services are provided to students experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns, including adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety, responses to trauma, academic difficulties, and challenges with social interaction.
This is a part time, temporary position not to exceed December 1st, 2026. Selected candidate will work on the USF St. Petersburg campus approx. 24 hours per week.
