• Responsibilities and Duties: Assist teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff.
• Implement active supervision strategies Assist in lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom Implement screenings and assessments Data entry

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, working towards CDA, to be completed within two years of hire (required) Associate's degree in early childhood education (preferred) CDA certification (preferred) Experience working with young children (required) 2+ years experience with at-risk population (preferred) The successful candidate will be: compassionate, organized, flexible, a good communicator, a team player Physical abilities: Must be able to lift 30 pounds independently without assistance
