The Preschool Teacher is responsible for implementing Pre-K curriculum and Head Start standards to enhance school readiness. They will collaborate with the school district, conduct child assessments, and facilitate partnerships with families.
A Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a NJ P-3 teaching certification are required. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience working with young children.
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with P-3 teaching certification (required) The candidate must have one of the following NJ P-3 Certificate of Eligibility NJ P-3 Certificate with Advanced Standing NJ P-3 Standard Certificate Experience working with young children (required) Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk populations (preferred) Head Start Experience (preferred) The successful candidate will be: compassionate, organized, flexible, communicator and a team player. Physical abilities: Must be able to lift 30 pounds independently without assistance
