At Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC), we're looking for compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans that help build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—the gold standard in autism therapy.

No prior ABA experience? That's okay! We offer comprehensive paid training, ongoing clinical supervision, and continuous support from our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), giving you the confidence and skills to grow in a rewarding and meaningful career.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities build important life skills. Through engaging, individualized sessions, Behavior Technicians teach communication, social interaction, daily living, play, and coping skills while helping reduce challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement. The goal is to help each child become more independent, confident, and successful in everyday life.

What You'll Do As a Behavior Technician, you will

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress Communicate professionally with families and caregivers

What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred) Experience working with children is a plus, but not required Available a minimum of 15 hours per week Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration Willing to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
